What’s this all about?
I never planned for this. (Nor did my parents—who had well-intentioned, if more-than-a-tad delusional, aspirations of me becoming a professional musician.)
Growing up in Northern Nevada ranch country, I dreamed of homesteading in Alaska. Detouring to Utah and New York City was definitely not part of the plan, but it was the beginning of the end of any Alaskan homesteading.
I managed to hold on to some of the pioneering ethos by learning to weld, work with wood, build a fire, harvest a crop and ride a horse. I strayed from the Wild West way of life, however, by raising a family, buying a place in Pennsylvania, traveling the world and picking up a camera.
It’s that last one that brings us to this point. Welcome to my virtual photography gallery. I’ve curated some of my more powerful, unexpected, and mischievous works and gathered them here.
My intention is strictly to share them with you and anyone else who may stumble upon this. Nothing here is for sale, nor am I looking for work. This is an artistic endeavor (Though if you want to book me for a portrait shoot, we can always talk.) Enjoy.
